How to make it
- Pour 250ml of cold water into a cup.
- Add one level 5g scoop.
- Stir for about twenty seconds.
- Drink up. If it's been sitting a while, give it another stir.
Same method for all four. Use a little more or less powder to make it stronger or lighter.
How to work through the four
Start in the middle and work outwards.
Buzzy and Happy sit either side of the centre, so try these first and you'll have something to compare against. Rocket is the head end, and once you know how Buzzy feels it makes sense straight away. Chill is the other end, all body, and most people spot it immediately.
You don't have to pick a favourite and stop. Plenty of people rotate depending on the day, which is why they come back for the variety pack rather than switching to singles.
It's also the most gift-friendly thing we make, because you don't have to guess. Someone who hasn't had kava has no idea whether they want Rocket or Chill, and neither do you. This way they get to find out.
Common questions
How long will 400g last? Around eighty cups. If you're having two or three a week, most of a year.
Can I choose different amounts of each? The pack comes as one of each. For a different mix, order singles.
Do the four taste different? Only slightly. All four are earthy and peppery. The difference is more in how they feel than how they taste.
Will they settle in the cup? All four will if the cup sits. Instant kava mixes in with a stir and comes back out if you leave it, so give it another stir before you finish. Nothing's wrong when that happens.
Is there a traditional grind version? Yes, the Traditional Grind Variety Pack has all four in coarse grind.
How do I store four open pouches? Reseal each one and keep them somewhere cool, dry and out of the sun.
